Governor Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Stewart Wang of Ann Arbor to the Certificate of Need Commission.

The 11-member commission is a state program that works to help balance the cost, quality, and access to Michigan’s health care system.

“I am confident Stewart will continue to ensure all Michiganders have access to quality and affordable health care,” Snyder said.

Wang will serve the remainder of a three-year term to expire April 9, 2020. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
